What Supplements Should I Take
My opinion is that you don’t have to take any supplements.
You do not have to see that again. You understood it correctly. Without supplements, you can still lose and gain weight. Actually, these items do not make any difference in bodybuilding. They’re particularly ineffective if you’re not training properly and meticulously taking note of your diet.
If you’re not training properly, and don’t have your diet in order, then I’d suggest simply forgetting about supplements. They’ll be a waste of your time and money. Once you’ve mastered everything else, only then should you even consider getting a supplement. However, this is not the answer to everything. They won’t double your final results, they won’t add 100 lb. to your bench, and they won’t take 10 inches off your waist.
What Supplements Should I Take?
However, I am not against taking supplements. If used effectively, they can improve your performance and thereafter, your results. With this, you can easily ‘level up’ with your weights. Time to recover will be a lot faster. Plus, it can be a great way to supplement your diet. Regardless of how healthy your diet are, at times the nutrients you get from it may not be enough.
However, supplements are highly needed. It will provide you with great recovery only if you are carrying out your share.
I will only recommend a couple of supplements. My chosen ones are given below. I have based my choices on research. Let’s get to it.
Multivitamins
This is like a assure. A multivitamin will fill out any gaps and deficiencies in your diet so you can rest your head a night knowing that you’re not missing any vital nutrients that will help your body build muscle. It has been said that some elements in your multivitamins contain zinc for muscle recovery and ascorbic acid for immunity.
Tip: It is best to take vitamins following your workout because it can remove any free radicals that your body produced during the workout.
Whey Protein
For people who simply want to take one supplement, the most beneficial one is whey protein. This is because it is very useful.
Lean muscle mass needs proteins. You need about one gram of protein for each pound of bodyweight. Since you cannot effortlessly achieve this with the use of diet, then drinking whey protein can be a great alternative. I would like to propose Prograde’s protein Powder because of its quality and price.
Creatine
I’ve heard that this is one of highly researched performance enhancing supplement. It’s used widely by the vast majority of professional and amateur athletes alike. The key benefits of creatine? Slightly better recovery between sets and workouts, and overall better performance and strength consequently. I have tried it once. However, I have not experienced any changes when I took it. This is only my opinion – others swear by it. Discover for yourself if it will be effective for you.
And that’s it! Only three supplements out of the lots of out there made this list. All that was not talked about are useless. Since FDA is not testing such supplements and that is why they have no one to answer to. That is the exact reason why they have no effect. Don’t be one of several uninformed vast majority that waste their funds on products which provide you with only a placebo effect at best.
